About us
Builder-led. Team delivered.
AHO Renovations is a licensed residential building company specialising in considered renovations and extensions across Brisbane's inner north and north-west. We take on fewer, carefully selected projects, giving our team the time and oversight to deliver a well-resolved result from planning through to handover.
Who we are
Experience, craftsmanship and a considered approach
AHO Renovations is a trading name of All Hands On Pty Ltd, a licensed residential building company specialising in substantial renovations and extensions across Brisbane.
We bring together experienced trades, practical building knowledge and considered design to create comfortable, cohesive homes with lasting appeal.
By taking on fewer, carefully selected projects, we maintain close oversight and give each renovation the planning, workmanship and attention to detail it deserves. Working across Paddington, Ashgrove, Bardon, Red Hill and the surrounding inner-north suburbs, and throughout Brisbane North from Eatons Hill, our reputation has been built through completed homes, returning clients and personal recommendations.
The work is carried out under our own QBCC licence. All Hands On Pty Ltd, trading as AHO Renovations, holds licence 15332765 — and every project we take on is delivered by our team under it.

Experienced in existing homes
Whether you are refreshing a home or opening it up, no two builds are the same. We guide you from design through to build with practical solutions that suit the house you have.
One point of contact
You deal with one person from the first call through to handover, who knows your project and understands what you are after — not a rotating cast.
Detailed scope. Agreed inclusions.
Each proposal is tailored to your project, with clear scope, selections and inclusions written in language you can actually read.
A program you can plan around
Each project is scheduled and organised so it is delivered on a program you can plan your life around, without sacrificing workmanship or quality.
How it works
A considered process, from first conversation to construction
Good renovations begin with clear planning. We take the time to understand the project, assess the existing home and document the work properly before construction begins.
Initial project review
Tell us about your renovation, your priorities and any plans you already have. We talk the project through, answer your first questions and establish whether our approach is the right fit. No cost, no obligation.
Site assessment
We assess the existing home, take measurements and review the conditions that influence design, scope and cost — structure, services, drainage and site access. Any applicable fee is confirmed with you beforehand.
Detailed proposal
A clearly documented proposal setting out scope, inclusions, allowances, indicative program and payment stages. Once the details are agreed, we confirm the next steps and schedule your project.
Client reviews
What our clients say
Much of our work comes through returning clients and personal recommendations. Their feedback reflects the quality, care and trust we aim to bring to every renovation.

“We've recently had the pleasure of working with James from All Hands On to do a full renovation of our bathrooms and laundry. We could not be happier with the outcome. James 100% delivered on the vision that we had for each room. James is excellent to work with, he has a high customer focus and spent time to understand our requirements, providing helpful design suggestions prior to delivering plans and a project schedule that he and his team delivered on time and to a very high standard. James is professional, has excellent communication skills and works closely with his contractors to ensure a consistently high standard of work at all times. James has a "can do" attitude and draws on his building experience to innovatively resolve any little challenges that arise during the project to ensure that he is delivering the outcome that we envisioned. We have no hesitation at all in recommending James to anyone looking to renovate their home and we would welcome him back if we have any further projects in the future. Paul & Kellie”
“I have been in my fully renovated house for about a month now and I have not yet recovered from the amazing experience of seeing the completed work for the first time! When doing a total renovation, it can be slightly nerve-wracking waiting for the end result, but thanks to the hard work, professionalism and commitment of James and his team, I knew I would not be disappointed and my expectations were exceeded. Communication was great, James kept me informed on the progress of the work and would consult me on any adjustments that needed to be made. Thanks James, Bianca and the team for doing such a wonderful job, and I have no hesitation in recommending All Hands On to anyone.”
