How this advice is written
Everything here is written by a licensed Brisbane builder about work we actually do. Where an article states a rule — a council approval trigger, a contract threshold, a deposit limit — it links to the Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council or QBCC page that rule comes from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it. Each article carries the date its facts were last reviewed.
What you will not find is a price list. Two renovations that look identical can differ substantially once you account for layout changes, drainage and the state of what is behind the walls — so we explain what moves the number instead of publishing one that would not hold.
